The EDGE 40" Heavy-Duty High-Flow Cold Planer is our most advanced planer for efficiently milling concrete or asphalt. It's rugged design makes this powerhouse attachment an invaluable tool for road construction and maintenance crews.
Designed for precise asphalt and concrete cuts, this milling attachment features an electric controller with a magnetic base for easy mounting in the cab to operate the hydraulic side-shift of up to 3" to the left or 22" to the right, +/-8 degree tilt function, milling depth up to 5", and optional dust control water kit.
Two depth gauges are prominently positioned on either side of the drum housing for easy visibility. The high torque is generated by a tough planetary gearbox, and an easy-open access door provides quick maintenance of the 89 picks on the drum.
The right side wheel assembly is removable, allowing the operator to get close to obstacles or buildings.

EDGE Cold Planers are typically used in milling around gutters and manholes, repairing frost heaves and pavement re-striping. Two Standard-Flow planers are available in 12" and 16" and feature manual tilt/depth control, while five High-Flow models in 16", 18", 24", 30" and 36" feature electro-hydraulic tilt/depth control and are single-circuit with 3 hydraulic lines. All EDGE Cold Planers come complete with hoses, hose saver kit, flat-faced couplers and asphalt picks.
